Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris Do It Again With ‘SexBeat’
Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris have done it again and dropped their highly anticipated new single “SexBeat.”
Usher teased of the track last November and during the Lil Jon and T-Pain Instagram Live battle last Saturday April 4th, Lil Jon played some of the single.
“SexBeat” was co-produced by Bobby Avila and Kronic and co-written by Jermaine Dupri and is the second offering from Usher‘s upcoming album release. He released “Don’t Waste My Time” featuring Ella Mai back in November.
“The [world] Asked For it, Now the [world] gets it. Ursher, Jon & Luda Did It Again,” Ludacris posted on Instagram yesterday.
Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris were set to headline the “Lovers & Friends Festival” next month, it’s now been rescheduled to August.
The new single follows up 2004‘s “Lovers and Friends,” the song hit #1 R&B and Top 5 Hot 100 without a video. It all began with “Yeah!,” the trios first recording found on Usher‘s record breaking certified diamond album “Confessions.” Which has sold over 15 million copies worldwide
“Confessions” was released just as “Yeah!” was in its 6th week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was #1 for a total of 12 weeks, from February to late May of 2004.
