UB was there from the start, now in the final season, we link up with one of our favorites, London Brown to talk all things “Raising Kanan.”

London Brown is “Raising Kanan’sfan-favorite “Uncle Marvin,” who has become one of the most talked-about and beloved characters in the entire Power universe.

Over the course of the series, Marvin evolved from the unpredictable older brother into one of television’s most layered and emotionally complex characters — balancing humor, violence, vulnerability, loyalty, fatherhood, and redemption in a way audiences deeply connected with.

As “Raising Kanan” enters its final chapter, this season marks a major cultural moment for both the series and for London himself.

Beyond “Raising Kanan,” audiences also know London from his standout role as Reggie on HBO’s “Ballers” alongside Dwayne Johnson, where a role initially written as a short arc quickly evolved into a recurring fan favorite.

What makes London especially compelling beyond the screen is his versatility as both an actor and entertainer.

In addition to acting, London tours nationally as a stand-up comedian and brings a level of honesty, humor, and real-life perspective.

Meet the Rest of The Cast of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” Season 5

Mekai Curtis as Kanan Stark
This has always been Kanan’s transformation story, and Season 5 finally completes the evolution. No longer just a kid caught between influences, Kanan is beginning to embrace the ruthless instincts that eventually turn him into one of the Power universe’s most feared figures.

Patina Miller as Raquel “Raq” Thomas
Few TV performances have been as commanding as Patina Miller’s turn as Raq. Strategic, terrifying, fiercely protective, and deeply complicated, Raq remains the emotional and criminal center of the series as the Thomas family empire begins collapsing around her.

Malcolm Mays as Lou-Lou Thomas
Lou-Lou has spent seasons trying to escape the violence and emotional damage surrounding the family business. Unfortunately, in the Power universe, peace rarely stays peaceful for long.

Hailey Kilgore as Jukebox
One of the franchise’s most fascinating characters continues her complicated transformation into the hardened adult fans met in the original Power. Jukebox’s journey remains one of the show’s most emotional storylines.

Joey Bada$$ as Unique
One of the coolest and most unpredictable presences in the entire Power universe. Unique has consistently blurred the line between ally and threat, often at the exact same time.

Wendell Pierce as Snaps
Cool-headed, calculating, and deeply plugged into the streets, Snaps continues to be one of the key power players shaping the future of Queens.

Erika Woods as Pop
Alongside Snaps, Pop has quietly become one of the series’ sharpest strategic minds. Underestimate her at your own risk.

Shameik Moore Joins as Breeze
No character has been teased longer in the Power universe than Breeze. This season finally introduces the legendary Southside figure, played by Shameik Moore, whose partnership with Kanan helps shape the ruthless kingpin fans know from the original series. If you’ve been waiting for one major payoff heading into the final season, this is it.
