Princeton Perez Strikes Out on His Own with ‘Perfect World’
We’ve literally watched this young man Princeton Perez grow up, from his arrival in this music industry till now. UB played an instrumental part in the roll-out for Mindless Behavior, as we were asked to conduct one of their very first interviews in 2010. Throughout their run, UrbanBridgez.com kept MB fans laced with First Listens & First Looks.
The group went on to release their debut album a year later in September of 2011. Which included the hit “Mrs Right” featuring Diggy. The group eventuality released three albums and won the Viewers Choice Award at BET Awards 2012.
Upon the disbandment of the group, which took place in 2017. Princeton began focusing on his own music. He’s a singer, songwriter, actor and dancer.
Now he’s striking out on his own with the first single from his upcoming solo project. The single “Perfect World” was released exclusively to TIDAL this week and lands on streaming services today!
As apart of the TIDAL feature, Princeton Perez wrote a letter to his younger self.
Dear Princeton,
I see you’re striving to be the best. Keep it up! People are looking at you from a distance and they see your determination. Eventually your talent will shine beyond your own imagination. I have some advice for you.
Study more vocally! Eventually you’re going to be way more confident than you are now, but get ahead of yourself and start to break those insecure habits.
Watch who you trust; you can be too willing to trust people you think are nice, so be careful and protect yourself.
Live in the moment! You tend to live in the past or live in the future, and I’m telling you now, please just enjoy every second of your life right now! You won’t want to forget none of it!
Continue to stay focused, persistent and positive! Even through all the negativity! Let’s win!
