Les Nubians To Release Albums on Blue & Orange Vinyl

Pioneers of Neo Soul, Grammy-nominated duo Les Nubians will release both of their albums on vinyl January 23rd, 2026.

Inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Miriam Makeba, Fela Kuti, and Prince, Les Nubians released their debut album “Princesses Nubiennes” in 1998.

The album entered the Billboard 200, a first for an album sung mostly in French.

Led by the hit “Makeda,” the album helped shape the emerging Neo Soul movement.

The new 2LP set will be available on Blue vinyl.

Les Nubians‘ second album, “One Step Forward” featured collaborations with Talib Kweli, Manu Dibango, Richard Bona, and IG Culture, and earned them a Grammy Award nomination.

The 2LP set will be available on White and Orange vinyl.

Les Nubians illuminate the music scene with their unique and sophisticated Afro-European Soul.

Sisters Hélène and Célia Faussart masterfully blend the French language with influences from Sade and Soul II Soul, as well as Hip-Hop and the essence of African music.
