BJ The Chicago Kid’s Fire New Release ‘Make It Hot’ From ‘The Pickup’

Sony Music has released the new single “Make It Hot,” an original song from Prime Video’s upcoming action-comedy film “The Pickup.”

Performed by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter BJ The Chicago Kid. Eryn Allen Kane adds an additional sauce to the track.

The feel-good soul and funk-infused number arrives as the lead single to the full soundtrack album and was originally previewed in the film’s official trailer.

Starring Eddie Murphy, Pete Davidson and Keke Palmer, “The Pickup” premieres worldwide on Prime Video on Wednesday, August 6th.

In the film, a routine cash pickup takes a wild turn when two mismatched armored truck drivers, Russell (Eddie Murphy) and Travis (Pete Davidson), are ambushed by ruthless criminals led by a savvy mastermind, Zoe (Keke Palmer), with plans that go way beyond the cash cargo.

As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse.

The film delivers heart-pounding thrills, sharp comedy, and unexpected mishaps — everyone’s in for a hilarious and wild ride.
