10 hopeful women move into the Big Grrrls House, they must prove they have what it takes to make it to the end and join Lizzo in front of a global audience on the center stage.

UB has screened “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” and it’s a hit!

First off, Lizzo was born to be on reality TV as a host!

The personal story of the dancers, really puts the series into perspective. Lizzo‘s intentions are evident from the start, she enforces the importance of self love and admiration for you!

Unlike some other reality shows, Lizzo and her team never forces anything on anyone and makes them do anything they’re uncomfortable doing and that’s refreshing to see.

“We don’t work out to not be big, we work out to be strong!”

The battles are fire, the awards are unique and encouraging, not to mention the cinematography transitions are superb!

Charm La’Donna has great commentary and shares good advice to Lizzo and the dancers, the amazing SZA comes in with some great advice and did we mention, they stay in the Big Grrrls Mansion?

All of those are reasons enough to watch the series, but with us being based in the Twin Cities, the Minneapolis homecoming was without a doubt the best part for us!

Lizzo was born in Detroit, but moved to Minneapolis in 2010. In 2012, she started the group The Chalice with rapper Sophia Eris and singer/songwriter Claire De Lune. They blew up, on the local scene.

Lizzo later connected with Lazerbeak of the Doomtree collective. “Lizzobangers,” her debut album was released.

Lizzo and Sophia Eris continued their partnership and joined rapper Manchita and DJ Shannon Blowtorch to form a hip-hop crew called GRRRL PRTY. In summer 2014, the members of GRRRL PRTY joined Lizzo onstage in Minneapolis at the Rock the Garden festival.

The love for Minnesota in the series was also real from the Big GrrrlsMinnesota Strong!

UB‘s stand-out dancers and personalities belong to Asia, Sydney, Charity and Crystal. Asia is everything!

The final performance, shows what they were all capable of doing from day one and it is great to see them shine!

In the end the Big Grrrls learn, concur goals, overcome obstacles, have fun, get healthy, create art and stay happy. To be able to pull all that off in a reality series, is to be commended!

Watch Out for the Big Grrrls!
