One of our favorites Ro James is gearing up to release his sophomore album release “Ro-MANTIC” on May 29th. Today, he delivers the duet many of us have been waiting for awhile. “Plan B” featuring Brandy.
UB spoke to Ro James at last years BET Awards and asked him how it felt to have singers like Brandy and Kelly Price praising him as a new artist? He told us it was an honor and he was a huge fan of both. Ro also mentioned he hoped he would get the opportunity to work with them both. Well here we are…

In 2013, James took the independent route, performing at showcases throughout New York and collaborating with the city’s up-and-comers like Luke James and Wynter Gordon. He eventually rolled out a three-part EP called Coke, Jack and Cadillacs, all odes to his firsts.
His RCA debut album was released in 2016 and featured the hit single “Permission.”
