It’s here the new video from Leela James for the single “Something’s Got a Hold on Me.” Her new CD “Loving You More…In The Spirit of Etta James” is a tribute to the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and will be released on Shanachie Entertainment July 31st.
Leela has worked with everyone from Ray Charles and BB King to Kanye West and John Legend says, “Etta James sang from real pain, which truly made the blues and soul of her music special.” In true Leela fashion she pays homage to Etta while still remaining true to her own musical spirit.
