DVD: “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas” In Stores Today

Leave it to the magnificent Madea to save Christmas as Lionsgate releases Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas (The Play) on DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Digital Download and On Demand this holiday season.

Fresh off of three stage performances in Atlanta, the story follows the wealthy, dysfunctional Mansell family as they clash with Madea (Perry) and her relatives during the holidays. It is left up to the hilarious Madea to save this Christmas, turn around the drama and amp up the comedy! The play features musical numbers written by Perry and stars a number of fan favorites including Cheryl Pepsii Riley (Madea‘s Big Happy Family), Chandra Currelley-Young (Diary of a Mad Black Woman) and Cassi Davis (TV’s “House of Payne”). Newcomer Patrice Lovely as Hattie will knock your socks off with her unforgettably hilarious performance.
