Reviews: Jacob Latimore Shines on “SCREAM Tour”

RCA/Crown World Entertainment recording artist Jacob Latimore who recently released his first official single “Like ‘Em All” (co-written by Jacob & produced by Teddy Riley) featuring his label mate Issa, is one of the stand-out artists on the SCREAM Next Generation Tour! A tour that features some of the best young R&B & Hip-Hop talent of today! Also on the bill, The OMG Girlz, Hamilton Park and headliners Diggy & Mindless Behavior. New Boyz who were also apart of the tour were recently booted due to an altercation with Hamilton Park. However as the saying goes, the show must go on!

The tour stopped in Louisville, KY on Friday (October 14th) and UrbanBridgez.com got a chance to check it out first hand. The OMG Girlz opened the show followed by Atlantic recording artist Hamilton Park. Next up was Jacob and by the time his set was over, it had many concert goers wondering, why wasn’t the Milwaukee native one of the headliners? Full of energy Jacob didn’t miss a beat as he performed singles from his up-coming 2012 debut album release, including “Nothing on Me!” He even did his own PG version of Lil Wayne‘s current hit single “How to Love” and got the sold-out crowed even more pumped.

If the party wasn’t already started before Jacob hit the stage, it was definitely kicked off during his performance. Diggy followed him and the crowed got an extra treat as Jacob later joined him to perform their version of “Like ‘Em All“. Mindless Behavior ended the show with a great performance as well.

Jacob Latimore is easily the next Chris Brown as far as a very talented young singer, songwriter, dancer and actor who’s appeared on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, One Tree Hill, So Random and has an up-coming guest spot on BET‘s new sitcom Reed Between The Lines, not to mention having the starring role in the horror film Vanishing on 7th Street. The now 15 year old, has come a long way since his 2006 appearance on The Maury Povich Show in a segment called “Most Talented Kids.”

All in all, the SCREAM Next Generation tour has another month before it comes to an end, make sure you check it out when it comes to your city!

Tune into BET’s 106 & Park Tonight, for the New Joint of The Day, “Like ‘Em All!”
