Young fans across the country brace yourselves. 106 & PARK, BET‘s wildly popular signature series, announced the official kick off of the 106 & PARK PRESENTS: CLOSER TO MY DREAMS TOUR. The all ‘young stars’ line-up includes teen sensations Tyga (Young Money/Cash Money Records), Mindless Behavior (Conjunction/Streamline/Interscope), Diggy Simmons (Atlantic), Lil Twist (Young Money/Cash Money Records), Jawan Harris (ByStorm Entertainment/Jive) and Trevante (Imani Entertainment) along with a special surprise guest. Seventeen-year-old Trevante Halliburton is no stranger to the hard work demanded of him by the notoriously competitive music industry. In preparation for his debut album, “I Am Trevante,” which is slated for a 2011 release, Trevante has had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry’s elite producers and writers: Chris Brown, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Diane Warren, Rico Love, Mischke, August, The Underdogs, Harmony “H Money”, Ezekiel “Zeke” Lewis, and Troy Taylor to name a few.
