QUEEN LATIFAH REVEALS ‘PERSONA’ WITH NEW ALBUM
Queen Latifah, the first lady of hip-hop, is ready to reclaim her throne with the release of her 9th studio album, ‘Persona‘, due to drop on August 25th! The first single, “Cue the Rain” has already been released with great buzz. The follow-up single which will premiere before the release of the album is “People” featuring Mary J. Blige & Jadakiss.
Next month a short feature film called “Persona“; will premiere with a star studded national television premiere. Other up-coming TV appearances include: Regis & Kelly (9/8/09); So You Think You Can Dance (8/6/09); Kimmel (September); Ellen (September); Tyra (September).
Queen Latifah will also embark on a US tour starting in September.

Wow! This sounds interesting. But I wonder will people wanna hear Latifah rap again? Is this a rap album or is a mixture like with her singing and what not? I’m definitely interested in hearing esp since Pharrell is attached too.
