LYFE’S ‘HATERS’ #1 MOST ADDED/NEW ALBUM INFO

Jesus Swings and Asylum/Warner Bros. is pleased to announce that platinum recording artist, songwriter and entrepreneur, LYFE JENNINGS’, new single, “HATERS,” is the number one (#1) most added single at radio on three (3) Nielsen BDS & Mediabase charts: Urban Overall, Urban AC and Urban Mainstream. Lyfe is set to release his fourth (4th) album SOONER OR LATER on his new label, Jesus Swings with Asylum/Warner Bros. on September 22, 2009

The mid-tempo groove “HATERS” chronicles the actions of well, a hater. Here Lyfe doesn’t deal with “hater” nonsense. He keeps to himself because he believes that when you give them too much that’s when the hate comes in. However, when hate does seep in and reaches an all time high it must be squashed.

LYFE tells us that his new CD, SOONER OR LATER, “is about relationships. How we try to hold on sometimes for the sake of holding on. But, in reality no matter how many breakups turn into make-ups, sooner or later we realize that this person is who they are and we need to let go. No grudges, no regrets. Just realization. Just acceptance. Just life.”

SOONER OR LATER , is the first release to come out on Lyfe’s new label Jesus Swings. He notes: “I am happy to be working with Asylum/Warner Bros. to introduce Jesus Swings. It’s a new found independence for me and it’s rewarding to get to call the shots. It takes a real man to accept living and dying by his thoughts, and rising and falling by his dreams.”

LYFE JENNINGS, a native of Toledo, Ohio, transformed the music world in 2004 after the release of his critically acclaimed debut Lyfe 268-192. Hailed as gritty and raw, the album created devoted fans everywhere and sold over a million copies.

LYFE captured an even broader audience in 2006 with his sophomore effort, The Phoenix, which expanded on his life story, taking listeners through different phases of a man. The album featured the smash hit, “S-E-X,” a cautionary tale for young women from a male perspective. He went on to release Lyfe Changes in 2008.
