The June/July 2009 issue of UPTOWN Magazine (on newsstands June 9th) features “Soul Survivor,” Tomika Anderson’s cover story on Maxwell, the 90’s neo-soul success who went off the charts, off the radar and will release his first album in eight years this July.

Maxwell was on the radio this morning and said the second disc will have a gospel feel to it and make you dance around the kitchen and the third disc is very sexual so wear a condom! He also joked that maybe he should include a condom in the packaging for the third disc. I am looking forward to all three of these.
I was so upset when I did not get to go to Maxwell’s Concert. I look forward to getting his CD the industry needs him!!!
