Bobby V To Drop “Dusk Till Dawn” Next Tuesday October 16th

R&B star Bobby V is set to release his new album, Dusk Till Dawn, next Tuesday, October 16, 2012. The album builds on the solid, versatile track record that Bobby V has paved, and features Lil Wayne, Future, Gucci Mane, K Michelle, Red Cafe and Cassidy. Bobby reunites with Weezy for the frisky lead single, “Mirror,” which is at #26 on the urban radio chart. The video for “Mirror” can be seen on MTV Jams and BET.

With more than 15 years clocked in the game, Bobby V knows quite a bit about longevity. Formerly in-house vocalist at Ludacris’ Disturbing Tha Peace Records, Bobby has been singing since elementary school, back when he and his friends would emulate groups like Boyz II Men and Jodeci to make female classmates swoon. “Ever since I came out the womb I was chasing a young lady,” cracks Bobby. By 15, he scored a top 20 hit with the Organized Noize-produced “Blackberry Molasses” as one-fourth of the short-lived group Mista. The athletic multi-talent next took up mass communications at Clark Atlanta University, where he played baseball on scholarship and continued recording demos between lecture classes. One of his discs made its way to the Disturbing The Peace offices and shortly after, BV was sporting a DTP chain and belting the chorus to Luda’s 2004 single, “Pimpin’ All Over The World.”

Bobby V made his own solo thud on the Billboard charts in 2005, when his debut album Disturbing Tha Peace Presents Bobby Valentino was RIAA-certified gold, lead by the harp-and-drum powered smash “Slow Down.” The 2007 sophomore LP Special Occasion followed, featuring “Turn The Page” and the Timbaland-produced favorite “Anonymous.” Bobby established his own Blu Kolla Dreams imprint in 2008, the same year he graced Lil Wayne’s “Mrs. Officer” with an irresistible wailing chorus. In 2009, Bobby released his third album The Rebirth, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard R&B Charts. The album was spearheaded by another contagious single in “Beep,” featuring Yung Joc. For his fourth LP, 2011’s Fly On The Wall, Bobby linked with 50 Cent, Plies, Twista, then-surging producer Hit-Boy, and even R. Kelly, who remixed the margarine-smooth lead single, “Words.”
