Ahead of the highly anticipated release of “Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody” in movie theaters on December 23rd, the film’s corresponding soundtrack “I Wanna Dance with Somebody – The Movie: Whitney New, Classic and Reimagined,” will be released tomorrow December 16th via RCA Records.

The soundtrack is filled with 35 fire tracks. Including Whitney‘s rare live recording of “Don’t Cry For Me,” the riveting song that was originally recorded by BeBe and CeCe Winans.

Whitney Houston first burst into mainstream with her self-titled debut album, “Whitney Houston.” The album, which spurred three #1 Billboard Hot 100 singles – “Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” and “Greatest Love of All,” spent 14 weeks at #1 on Billboard Top 200, and sold more than twenty-five million copies globally.

The second studio album, “Whitney,” followed in 1987.
