Jaheim recently spoke to our friends at YKIGS and gave them the scoop on what we can expect from “Struggle Love.”

I think we try something new every time we put a new album out, but this one here was taking it back to the roots. Going back to that “Ghetto Love” feeling but not too much, because that’s just what that was. We created greatness. Now we turn the chapter a little bit and spice it up and kept it grown and sexy. I believe when I first came out, people just gravitated to it from all different order tramadol mastercard ages from kids to teenagers to adults. It was love and you felt it. It was something they were feeling and in some way of nature they expressed that feeling. I’m hoping I can give back that feeling on “Struggle Love”. It’s demanding your attention, like it’s the old Jaheim, but it’s not old. It’s the feeling that they’ve been really missing and it’s fresh.”

Jaheim’s debut album, Ghetto Love (2001) and sophomore album, Still Ghetto (2002), both reached RIAA platinum status and 2006’s Ghetto Classics was #1 on Billboard 200, Gold status, and sold over 153,000 copies in its first week. Throughout his successful career, Jaheim has sold over 5 million records worldwide and collaborated with artists such as Ledisi, Jadakiss, Anthony Hamilton, Keyshia Cole, Nelly and more. The R&B singer/songwriter has been nominated for multiple awards at The Grammys, BET Awards and Soul Train Music Awards, plus continues to tour and lend time to his Julie’s Dream Foundation and also Urban Dreams Foundation, a youth outreach initiative that builds affordable housing in the Newark, NJ area.
