Nominations for the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards
The nominations for the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards were announced this morning. There were some surprises and some expectations, along with snubs that have us questioning the academy.
Snubbed this year, that were deserved nominations were; Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, J. Cole and Eminem to name a few.
Cardi B received five nominations, including Album of the Year (Invasion of Privacy) and Song of the Year (“I Like It”). Kendrick Lamar received eight, while Drake received seven.
Music’s Biggest Night® returns to Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, and will broadcast live on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.This years nominations honor the best in recordings released between Oct. 1, 2017, and Sept. 30, 2018.
