Charlie Wilson Officially Launches His Hat Line

Grammy-nominated artist and R&B legend, Charlie Wilson, today announced the launch of his own hat line, Uncle Charlie Hats by Charlie Wilson. Known for his style, which includes his signature fedoras, both on and off the stage, Wilson has created a hat line for both men and women featuring the hottest styles and colors for Spring and Summer 2012.

Growing up in the church, Wilson was impressed by the style and demeanor of the congregation. “My dad was a Pentecostal Bishop in Tulsa so my mom had a beautiful collection of hats that she wore to church,” stated Wilson. “I believe that a hat completes the outfit of a well-dressed man. At almost every red carpet event you will see me wearing a hat with my suit.”

“When a woman wears a hat, it brings out another side of her personality and further complements the outfit she is wearing. It was important to me that when we created my hat line that we had styles for both men and women that could be easily dressed up or down.”

The Uncle Charlie Hats by Charlie Wilson line includes hats for both men and women for all occasions, including dress and casual wear. The collection consists of fedoras, cowboy hats, sun hats, caps and styles for that special occasion in a multitude of colors and patterns.
