It has been a while since the world has heard from the sensational platinum selling, R&B group Soul for Real (SFR), which consists of four brothers – Jason, Andre, Brian and Chris Dalyrimple. SFR is best known for their 1995 chart topping album, Candy Rain, that yielded top singles, including “Candy Rain“, “Every Little Thing I Do“, and “If You Want It“, which blazed across radio stations nationwide. The group released a sophomore album in 1996 entitled For Life, which was followed up by a third album Heat in 1999.
While their fans have been wondering what they have been up to, they have been steadily working on new music and preparing for their long awaited return. Their time away from the spotlight has allowed them to perfect their unique sound, which will be displayed in their upcoming albums. The first to be released is titled The Evolution: Journey, a name that truly personifies their story. Their new project consists of collaborations with artists such as Jadakiss, Cassidy, Keith Murray and more.
SFR has continued to work in the industry but on a more independent level. They relocated to Atlanta, Georgia from New York, where they formed their own label and production company. They have been focused on their new projects that reflect their unparalleled writing and production abilities.
SFR will soon release their fourth album; The Evolution: Journey. They are back to reach new heights and fill the void in music today. Their album is described as having a sexy, but fun new sound that will captivate audiences everywhere. The song lyrics are imbued with raw spirit that reveals their growth as artists and individuals. SFR’s unwavering ambition, dedication, and talent are sure to be felt. They have merely scratched the surface of their potential. SFR’s journey is far from over—it is actually just beginning!
