New Boyz Celebrate Latest Hit, New Management w/ Nick Cannon & SCREAM Tour

Multi-platinum
selling duo New Boyz, comprised of Ben J and Legacy, are celebrating their fifth consecutive Top 10 song at Rhythmic radio with their current single, “Better With The Lights Off” featuring R&B superstar Chris Brown. The duo has had tremendous success since they hit the scene in 2009 and have sold over 7 million singles to date.

Fresh off of their explosive performance on the highly rated national television show America’s Got Talent, “Better With The Lights Off” also recently premiered in the Top 40 pop chart. The single is charting on the Billboard Hot 100, is already over 100 million in audience and has sold more than 500,000 copies in one short month. This is not the first multi-platinum single for them; however, it further solidifies New Boyz as a group who has captured a loyal fan base and become a household name.

In other exciting news, New Boyz announce they are now managed by Nick Cannon’s company NCredible Entertainment. The talented Cannon is also executive-producing a scripted movie, which is currently in development, for the group. The film is slated for theatrical release in 2012.

Their current album, Too Cool To Care, is in stores now and spawned three hit singles. The album’s breakout single “Backseat,” inspired by the international club scene, enlisted the help of electro-pop producers The Cataracs and their starlet Dev for a dance-floor banger which has already surpassed platinum status. In support of the album, the New Boyz, who were praised by LA Times for their “catchiness and charisma,” have been added to the upcoming, ever popular Scream Tour.
