‘Wicked City’ + ‘Kold x Windy’ Renewed by ALLBLK

Returning Later This Year.

ALLBLK, the popular streaming service for Black television and film from AMC Networks, has announced the renewals of “Kold x Windy” and “Wicked City.

Originally airing on sister network, WE tv, “Kold x Windy” will launch its sophomore season on ALLBLK this summer. Female rap duo Malika “Kold” Wise and Renee “Windy” Johnson are back as they continue to navigate the dangers of the drill music game and the streets of Chicago.

The supernatural drama “Wicked City” returns for a third season with the coven of Black witches continuing to push their supernatural powers to new heights, uncovering dark secrets and attracting the most dangerous of enemies in the city of Atlanta.

These series have all been strong performers on ALLBLK in terms of viewership and acquisition and have all generated incredibly positive responses from our subscribers,” stated Dismuke. “They also demonstrate ALLBLK’s commitment to creating compelling content from Black creators and storytellers. Makeup x Breakup, My Mane Problem (also renewed), Kold x Windy and Wicked City are a great reflection of the diversity of programming that makes ALLBLK such a dynamic streaming destination and these shows underscore our commitment to programming excellence and giving viewers what they want. 2024 will be a great year on ALLBLK, driven in large part by these popular returning titles.

Today ALLBLK also announced the series “Deb’s House.” A new, unscripted series follows famed music mogul Deb Antney, who pioneered the careers of several high-profile artists such as Gucci Mane, French Montana and Nicki Minaj, as she embarks on a nationwide hunt for rap’s next female superstar MC.

The series is set to premiere this summer, exclusively on ALLBLK.
