Yesterday, on “The Breakfast Club,” hip-hop mogul Master P sat down with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Jess Hilarious for a candid in-studio interview covering grief, tough love, and healing old industry rivalries.
“I got a brother dead. I got a brother incarcerated. Family members dead. Incarcerated friends. Like, this real life for us. And to be able to make it out the project and to have fans… this a blessing,” stated P.

Master P opened up about losing his brother to violence, the pain of watching his mother go silent with grief, and why he urges young people to stop hiding the streets from their parents.
He also reflected on the long-standing No Limit/Cash Money rivalry, explaining why he’s grateful the two camps can now coexist and share a stage for the No Limit Cash Money Tour, and what it means to go from the Calliope Project to over 100 million records sold.
