One of our favorites, Kevon Edmonds has released an exquisite version of Sade’s hit, “No Ordinary Love” via Rose Mark.
Known principally as the lead singer for the group After 7, Kevon became the bright tenor voice behind a number of hits for that group before emerging as a solid solo performer.
After 7 tasted major success on their first three albums, two of them reaching platinum status.
In 1999, Kevon released his debut album “24/7,” co-produced by Babyface .

With “No Ordinary Love,” Kevon hit the studio, as a solo artist for the first time in over 25 years.
Produced by Damon Thomas, with amazing lead and subtle background arrangements from Kevon.
UB spoke to the multi talented Kevon Edmonds in 2009, for the release of his album “Who Knew?”
We asked him then, his favorite songs in his catalog including After 7 songs? “Wow, let’s see… After 7, let’s see. The standards that we perform like “Can’t Stop,” “Ready or Not,” etc. On the third album “Reflections” there is a song called “How Do You Tell The One,” which is a real special song.”
Kevon went on to say; “Wow this is tough, I’ll go with “Crying For It” which is also on that record. One more, and there is one we did for the 90210 soundtrack called “Not Enough Hours In The Night” written by Diane Warren. It’s a very special song that I like also.”
