Memphis rising star Fresco Trey returned with his new single, “Hope.”

The melodic and relatable track adds another exclamation point to Trey’s growing catalogue of introspective rhymes that have long resonated with fans. True to its name, “Hope” delivers an uplifting message, inviting listeners to hold onto light even in the face of uncertainty.

‘Hope’ is a reminder that your story isn’t over. No matter what you’ve faced, you still have the pen in your hand — and you get to decide how it ends,” states Fresco Trey.

Hope” marks his first release of 2026 and follows the grassroots success of last year’s Meraki (Deluxe) project. This latest offering captures the anticipation of brighter days and the resilience required to keep going.

It’s a hopeful anthem for troubled times, underscoring Trey’s ability to merge lived experiences (“I know hard times/I done been there/I won’t break, no I won’t bend”) with sharp storytelling.

Fresco Trey’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. After spending years developing his craft, which includes shadowing Post Malone on tour in 2019, he signed to Warner Music Group in 2021. His debut EP, Heartbreak Diaries, earned widespread acclaim and was notably followed by the May 2022 sequel Heartbreak Diaries 2.

Trey’s creative output maintained a level of consistency over the years, proven repeatedly through his impressive range of singles and unique collaborations, including features with NLE Choppa, K CAMP, Lil Tjay, Vory, and more.

No longer signed to Warner, Trey remains steadfast in his goals and continues his ascent towards superstardom. Having recently toured as a supporting act on K CAMP’s ‘KISS 6 Tour,’ there’s no end to the steady momentum he’s started.
