Hip-hop icon Da Brat and beauty mogul Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart have announced the release of their highly anticipated joint memoir and relationship guide, “The Way Love Goes: A Guide to Building a “Beaurtiful” & Everlasting Relationship.”

Known for their hit We TV reality series “Brat Loves Judy,” the power couple invites readers into their private world, sharing their improbable journey from an industry friendship to a groundbreaking romance that resulted in a happy marriage and parenthood.

The Way Love Goes” offers an intimate look at the couple’s unique love story. For years, Da Brat, the first female solo rapper to go platinum, believed she would remain “in the closet” forever.

However, a chance meeting with Harris-Dupart in 2017 sparked an undeniable chemistry that eventually led to a public coming-out in 2020, a fairytale wedding, and the birth of their son, True Legend Harris-Dupart, in July 2023.

This book serves as a testament to their bond, blending memoir elements with practical advice for couples navigating their own romantic hurdles.

Written with the couple’s signature warmth and humor, the book is structured as a dual-perspective narrative.

Together, they tackle universal relationship themes including effective communication, coping with jealousy, balancing career and family, and the importance of “fighting fair.” The authors move beyond the glossy highlights of reality television to discuss the real work required to build a lasting partnership, addressing topics such as financial planning, intimacy, and the challenges of merging two very different lives.

More than just a celebrity tell-all, The Way Love Goes is positioned as a guide for anyone seeking a healthy, everlasting relationship, regardless of sexual orientation.

By sharing their personal struggles—from Da Brat’s journey to self-acceptance to the pressures of public scrutiny—the DuParts provide a blueprint for prioritizing love and growing together.
