It’s Not Like That” premieres tomorrow with two episodes Sunday, January 25th, on Wonder Project’s subscription on Prime Video in the U.S., with subsequent episodes of the eight-episode season debuting weekly thereafter.

Wonder Project will also sample the first episode on Prime Video for all subscribers tomorrow, with a global release on Prime Video to follow at a later date.

In Sunday’s premiere episode, Pastor Malcolm (Scott Foley), widowed, and Lori (Erinn Hayes), newly divorced, hold onto family and faith as they grieve and parent.

But will their friendship turn into love?

In the second episode, “New Voices,” Malcolm and Lori try to move ahead through congregation worries and dating opportunities.

Flora (Leven Miranda) skips therapy, Casey (Liv Lindell) seeks respect, Pen (Cassidy Paul) fails Justin (Cary Christopher).

It’s Not Like That” follows Malcolm (Foley), a pastor and recently widowed dad of three.

Lori (Hayes) is freshly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom, parenthood and the complexities of Malcolm being a modern-day pastor.

Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it?

From Ian Deitchman and Kristin Robinson, known for beloved classics like Life As We Know It and Parenthood, the series blends modern family drama with themes of connection, second chances, and navigating life after major transitions.
