Zatima’s Nzinga Imani Releases Debut Single ‘Drown’

One of our favorite rising stars Nzinga Imani, has released her debut single “Drown.”

The mid-tempo afro-beats influenced single, is refreshing and showcases Nzinga’s angelic vocals.

UB spoke to Nzinga last year and she told us then what type of music she was working on; “It’s gonna be different, it’s going to be a mixture of genres. I’m not going to limit myself to one genre. I’m gonna go with what feels good and what music feels good. Might be a little country, a little afro-beats, it might be a little R&B. So just exploring every talent, that God has blessed me with and seeing where it goes.”

Nzinga‘s talents span across entertainment, fashion and beauty as an accomplished actress, singer, plus-size model, CEO, influencer, and seasoned beauty professional.

Nzinga is perhaps best known for her role as Angela in BET’s hit series “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” and became a series regular on the show’s popular spinoff, “Zatima.”

She recently starred in the ALLBLK Original rom-com “Friend Zone.”
