UB In Memoriam: Brilliant Legendary Actor T. K. Carter

Started As An Opening Comic, Leading to Securing Sitcom Guest Roles.

Veteran comedian, actor and Southern California native T.K. Carter passed away on January 9th, He was 69.

He began acting in his pre-teens and quickly made his mark working on stage and in television.

Thomas Kent “T.K.” Carter was born December 18th, 1956, in New York City and raised in Southern California.

Known for roles “Good Times,” “Moesha,” “The Steve Harvey Show,” “NYPD Blue” and a host of others.

Including stand-out performance as Nauls in the 1982 horror classic “The Thing” and as Mike Fulton in the beloved sitcom “Punky Brewster.”

T.K. Carter‘s son, Thomas Scott released the following statement; “RIP to my biological father. A true pioneer ahead of his time. Thank you for all your condolences. Please take the time to learn about his legacy.

T.K.‘s publicist, Tony Freeman stated; “T.K. Carter was a consummate professional and a genuine soul whose talent transcended genres. He brought laughter, truth, and humanity to every role he touched.”

A sentiment that reflects T.K. Carter‘s influence on both colleagues and audiences.
