One of our favorites, singer/songwriter Tracy Cruz has released a beautiful new single entitled “Because of Your Love (for Epifania).”
Philippines-born, Bay Area-based Tracy Cruz created this song as a musical tribute to her beloved Grandma, Epifania Santos Soto, whose love, light, and spirit continue to shape her life.
The multi-award winning artist hopes it brings healing to anyone who has lost someone they deeply cherished.
Tracy shines on the track per usual. Tracy‘s melodic vocals over the lush production, make a match made in musical heaven!
The infectious chorus serves as an uplifting mantra, designed to resonate with listeners seeking feel-good anthems.

Born in Quezon City on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, Tracy grew up in an encouraging household where she watched with eyes of wonder as her mother and grandmother serenaded around the house.
With a vocal range that stretched from unbelievable lows to soprano highs, a refined tonal quality and a few scribbles in her notebook emerged.
Without forgetting her indigenous roots, Tracy developed musical mannerisms that were influenced by Filipino songwriting styles.
UB spoke to Tracy Cruz in 2011, and she shared with us then her special connection to another one of our favorites, Ledisi; “So I did some research and tracked her down, I’ve been following her music and found out she taught at a jazz school. So I wanted to meet her and I contacted her and we met for a few months. She really inspired me to sing very expressively and bring life to the words you sing. She also inspired me to stay true to myself and write my own lyrics, so I really draw from her a lot when it comes to my own career. She has worked so hard to get to where she is and I applaud her for staying true to herself and she’s living her dream, I’m so proud of her!”
Tracy is currently working on her highly anticipated album “Sun After the Reign.”
