UB Honors 2025: Teyana Taylor and Kevin Ross Lead + Voting Begins

Nominations Announced and Voting Begins for UB Honors 2025!
This years nominations are led by Teyana Taylor and Kevin Ross who both received five nods.
Including both being nominated for Artist of The Year, while Teyana garnered a nomination for Best R&B/Single of The Year & Best Actress | Film, Kevin Ross received another one for Best R&B Male Artist and Best R&B/Single of The Year for “Love In The Middle.”
Chris Brown and Ledisi, both received four nominations each. Chris Brown was nominated for Best Visual of The Year for “Residuals“, while one of Ledisi‘s nods includes Best R&B Album of The Year for “The Crown.”
In TV and Film, BET as a whole received the most nominations with 11, which include Best Network/Streamer, and on-screen talent; Crystal Renee Hayslett, Devale Ellis, Brandon T. Jackson, DeVon Franklin, David Banner, Kron Moore, Porscha Coleman and Letoya Luckett.
With nominations for “Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas” and “The Family Business: New Orleans” for Best Television Series.
This years hit “One Battle After Another” received four nods, including Best Film and Leonardo DiCapri, Teyana Taylor and Chase Infiniti received additional nods.
This years biggest blockbuster “SINNERS” received nominations for Best Film and Wunmi Mosaku & Michael B. Jordan received best Actor and Actress nods.
“Godfather of Harlem” was nominated for three UB Honors, including; Best Television Series, Elvis Nolasco for Best Actor, and Ilfenesh Hadera for Best Actress.
Voting Closes this Sunday December 14th at Midnight EST. Winners will Be Announced Next Wednesday December 17th!
