Exploration of Intimacy, Self-Awareness and Emotional Storytelling.

R&B girl group Psiryn has officially released their highly anticipated debut EP, “In The Key of Us,” a six-track exploration of intimacy, self-awareness and emotional storytelling.
Featuring their Billboard-topping hit “Sober” and the critically acclaimed single “The Softest,” the project offers a contemporary take on classic R&B themes, blending raw harmonies with reflective lyricism and lush, layered production.
“This body of work is for anyone learning how to love without losing themselves,” the group shares. “It’s soft, it’s strong, and it’s honest. In The Key of Us represents who we are, individually and together.”
Following a historic run that saw Psiryn become the first R&B girl group in over two decades to top Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart with “Sober,” the trio—Anaya Chayenne, Jada Denise and Victoria McQueen—returns with a fuller vision.
“In The Key of Us” is not just a debut. It is a declaration. A sonic journal where every track unfolds like a page from a diary, one where love is complex, vulnerability is a strength, and the group’s vocal synergy leads the storytelling.
The project’s standout single “The Softest,” produced by T-Nyce and written by Ashun, reimagines Xscape’s “The Softest Place on Earth” as a modern-day anthem of sensuality and power. With guidance and creative input from Kandi Burruss, the track honors the past while giving voice to a new generation of emotion-forward R&B.
Across the EP, Psiryn invites listeners into a curated experience. From the forward-facing confidence of “Next” to the emotional pull of “Cry For Me,” each record is rooted in honesty, written with care, and designed to feel lived in. There’s no filler here. Just storytelling with a pulse.
