In celebration of Elektra Records‘ 75th Anniversary, some cool new vinyl re-issues are scheduled for release on July 4th.
“Rapture,” the chart-topping Grammy Award winning sophomore album from the iconic songstress Anita Baker.
Keith Sweat‘s self titled album, will come on translucent ruby red vinyl.
And Grover Washington Jr‘s chart-topping Grammy Award winning fusion record “Winelight” arrives on white wine hued translucent vinyl.
Anita Baker‘s “Rapture” features the soulful classics, “Sweet Love” and “Caught Up In The Rapture.” The multi-platinum selling record has rarely appeared on vinyl since its original pressing nearly 40 years ago.
Arguably one of the most important figures in establishing the New Jack Swing era of contemporary R&B, Keith Sweat‘s self titled multi-platinum selling record includes chart topping hits “Twisted” and “Nobody.” Plus it features fellow R&B heavyweights Ronald Isley, Aaron Hall, and the late great Gerald LeVert.
