UB Preview: ‘Godfather Of Harlem’ Elise Johnson Meets Afeni Shakur

Season four of “Godfather Of Harlem” starring Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker and Rome Flynn, premiered with a bang on April 13th, and is now in the Top 10 to Watch.
A new episode launches this Sunday on MGM+ and UB has a New Preview!
In Season 4, Bumpy Johnson (Forest Whitaker) continues his bloody war for control of Harlem against New York’s Mafia families, while contending with the arrival of gangster Frank Lucas (Rome Flynn).
After Malcolm X’s (Jason Alan Carvell) tragic assassination, Bumpy must also grapple with his daughter Elise’s (Antionette Crowe-Legacy) involvement with the Black Panthers.
In the episode, entitled “The Straw Man,” when the property for Bumpy‘s new club is being sold to a powerful, white real-estate developer, Bumpy must convince the black “Straw Man” to sell it to him instead.
Mayme and Elise stage a protest at Margaret‘s school.
In the preview, Elise meets Afeni Shakur (played by Devin Kessler) for the first time as Elise realizes her calling through the Black Panthers.
