Grammy Award-winning vocalist and soul music icon Ann Nesby returns with her long-awaited eighth studio album “ANNiversary,” available now, via It’s Time Child Records/GoDigiPath, LLC/ADA.

A bold and heartfelt celebration of grown-folk R&B, “ANNiversary” delivers nine new music that speak to love, self-worth, and emotional accountability, all anchored by Ann Nesby’s unmistakable voice and authenticity.

UB Selections: “Still,” My Man,” “Tell Me,” “Who,” “Missing You,” and “Let’s Stay Together.

Ann Nesby co-wrote three of the album’s standout songs — “Missing You,” “Who,” and lead single “My Man,” alongside another Twin Cities legend, RL Huggar of the platinum-selling group Next, and his longtime producing partner Brian “B-Flat” Cook.

The exception is the stirring duet “Let’s Stay Together” featuring Calvin Richardson, produced by Dedarius Hill, which rekindles the magic that earned the duo a Grammy nomination in 2009 for their collaboration on “Facts of Life: The Soul of Bobby Womack.

The album follows the success of two singles, “My Man,” which continues to perform strongly at Urban AC radio with over 2.6 million airplay impressions, and “Ain’t Gotta Worry,” a spring-ready anthem that uplifts emotionally mature love and honors mutual devotion.

ANNiversary” also arrives on the heels of Ann Nesby’s cross-medium work as Executive Producer and narrator of the Oscar-qualifying documentary short “CIRILO, A Legacy Untold,” where she also contributes original music to the soundtrack—showcasing her storytelling brilliance through both sound and cinema.

This marks Ann Nesby’s first full-length studio album in over a decade, following a career that includes multiple Grammy nominations, hit singles like “Put It on Paper” and “I Apologize,” and legendary contributions as the lead vocalist of Sounds of Blackness.

With “ANNiversary,” she affirms her legacy while pushing forward a sound that is honest, soulful, and unmistakably hers.

With the richness of her vocals, the maturity of her message, and a sound rooted in emotional truth, Ann Nesby reminds the world that real R&B isn’t dead—it’s refined, elevated, and still evolving.
