Tyler Perry’s Ruthless” launched on BET+ March 19th, 2020. Pulling us into the dark and twisted world of the Rakudushis cult—and the chaos hasn’t let up since.

In today‘s new episode streaming now on BET+, entitled “He Lives,” Ruth must convince The Highest of her pregnancy while contending with River and Obadiah‘s attempt to have her removed from power and a murder places Andrew and the guards on high alert.

It’s been a wild ride and UB has been there from the start! We wanted to celebrate the series 100th episode, by ReVisiting our interviews with the cast.

Tyler Perry’s Ruthless” tells the riveting story of a woman named Ruth, who kidnaps her young daughter to join the dark underworld of a fanatical religious cult.

Season five of “Ruthless” reaches the peak of destruction and mayhem as blood is shed on both sides of the compound. Alliances will crumble, trust will be nonexistent, and the innocent will be punished. Who will be left standing when the dust settles?

But the Rakadushis aren’t just fighting the FBI this time; the cartel led by the brother of the dead cartel member, Lilo, has stepped in and joined the battle with the compound and the FBI.

The tides have turned, and just as The Highest predicted, they are going to war with the government, and the outcome is uncertain.

The Highest falls into more madness than usual and has elevated himself in his own mind.

Plus he continues to rule with a strong hand as he goes about punishing and downgrading some of his formerly loyal followers, but it’s his personal demons that seem to rule him as he faces memories of the past.

UB has conducted multiple interviews with Matt Cedeño, Blue Kimble, Melissa Williams, Lenny D. Thomas, Blue Kimble & Baadja-Lyne Odums, plus Colin McCalla, Joshua Adeyeye and Michelle Núñez.
