Tasha Cobbs, Tori Kelly + Lecrae Contribute to ‘House of David’ SDTK
Soundtrack and Series Released February 27th.
Prime Video will release the official soundtrack, “House of David: Season One,” Music inspired by the Prime Video Original Series that will be released with the series on February 27th.
Launching with three episodes and one episode weekly thereafter. The soundtrack features Grammy Award winning recording artist, Tori Kelly, Tasha Cobbs, Lecrae, Chris Tomlin, Blessing Offor alongside other top 40 artists.
“I’m so excited to watch the live action retelling of the incredible story of David and listen to all of the music inspired by it. “I’ve Got A Story” is a song about struggle, perseverance, reflection, and triumph. I believe its message is relatable to so many people going through trials and tribulations in their lives. I hope this song finds anyone who listens to it in a moment when they need it most, whether they’re going through a painful time or a moment of victory,” stated Tori Kelly.
The first single, “40” from for KING + COUNTRY, which is a rendition of U2’s 1983 hit song of the same name. The lyrics are derived from Psalm 40, one of the Psalms of David from the Old Testament of the Bible and most recently, the band first performed the song at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville during their residency in December 2024.
One of the highly anticipated tracks NEEDTOBREATHE’s “I’ve Got A Story” features recent Grammy Award winner, Tori Kelly, which will have a music video currently in post-production.
