Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter/actor Eric Benét has debuted the second video from his hit EP “Duets,” for the single “So Distracted” with Chanté Moore today on Valentine’s Day.
The sultry song is the perfect celebration of love and passion. “So Distracted” has consistently been at the top of the R&B charts and Mediabase since it dropped last August.
“Eric and I have been promising each other that we’d find the right song to do for the longest time,” states Chanté Moore. “When he played me the track for “So Distracted”, I jumped up and said, THIS IS IT!! I love this song, I love singing with Eric, and I love that we have this special release on Valentine’s Day.”
After nearly a ten-year recording hiatus, the first single off “Duets,” “Something To Make Love To” with Tamar Braxton hit #1 on the Billboard R&B chart after its release in June. “Duets” features the crème de la crème of female artists, including Ledisi (“Right Time”), LaTocha (“Work It Out”), and Corinne Bailey Rae (“Fly Away”).
Eric Benét has been nominated for four Grammys and six NAACP Image Awards. He is best known for his #1 single, “Spend My Life With You”, with Tamia, which rose to #1 on the US Billboard R&B charts in 1999 for three weeks.
In addition to his busy recording career and touring, Eric founded JBR Creative with former record company executive Alison Ball to nurture artists and maximize their potential in the ever-changing landscape of the music business.
New dates have been added to the R&B Invitation Tour!
Eric Benét will premiere a new album this spring.
