The ALLBLK Original Film “Darwin,” Premieres Thursday, March 20th.
Danielle LaRoach from “Tyler Perry’s Zatima,” portrays Tahj a determined young woman, escapes foster care to join her streetwise cousin, Bam Bam (Martin Bats), and disillusioned college grad, Canis (Keraun Harris), in a life of urban heists targeting the affluent.
But their plans take a deadly turn when they cross paths with Charles (Matt Kinback), a sadistic predator with a chilling obsession. As the crew becomes his prey, they must rely on wit and instincts to survive.
Tahj, is a strong-willed young woman fighting to overcome the harsh realities of inner city New Orleans by using her wit and flirtatious charm to stay afloat.
After exhausting all other options, she connects with Canis; the alpha of a pack of thieves that prey on the local affluent millennial society.
While executing a routine job, the crew encounters a heinous adversary that proves to be far more formidable than imagined. Animalistic instincts kick into high gear when the predators become the prey, and survival is no longer guaranteed.
