Nominations Announced and Voting Begins for UB Honors 2024!
This years nominations are led by Kendrick Lamar and Chris Brown who both received 4 nods. Including both being nominated for Artist of The Year, while Kendrick garnered a nomination for Best Hip-Hop Single of The Year, and Chris Brown received another one for Best Visual of The Year for “Feeling Something.”
Muni Long and Kandi‘s new girl group Psiryn, both received three nominations each. Muni Long was nominated for Album of The Year, while one of Psiryn‘s nods includes Best New R&B/Hip-Hop Artist.
On the television side NBC‘s “Found“, and the BET+ series’ “Diarra From Detroit” and “Zatima” garnered three nods each. As a whole BET+, received nine total nominations.
In Film, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” and “American Fiction” both received multiple nods.
Nominees were chosen from releases between September 2023 to October 2024.

UBG Honors, originally T M H Honors was started in 2002 on the original e-zine. A yearly round-up of the best of the best in music and online fans vote!
Over the years since UrbanBridgez.com, the names changed to the UB honors and have expanded into more categories and have been supported by artists and fans alike. For instance, in 2009 Beyoncé‘s team posted her nominations on her official site. That year she was nominated for 5 honors, for her “I Am… Sasha Fierce” release.
Since then many artists have shared their nominations on their official sites and social media, including: Toni Braxton, Maxwell, Charlie Wilson, and more.
