New Luther Vandross ‘Any Love’ Lyric Video
“Luther: Never Too Much,” Premieres on January 1st on CNN.
Luther Vandross was without a doubt, the standard of a great R&B vocalist, one of his most memorable songs, “Any Love” has a new lyric video.
“Any Love” was the first single from his sixth album, it was his sixth Billboard R&B album chart-topper . With the single also reaching #1, originally released August 1st, 1988.
The new lyric video is to accompany Luther‘s new “Never Too Much: Greatest Hits ,” inspired by Luther‘s elegance and deeply personal lyrics, the video pays tribute to the legend.
The album also features 4 previously unreleased tracks including The Beatles classic “Michelle” which was recorded in June 1989.
“Any Love” received two Grammy Award nominations at the 31st Annual Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
The new visual comes as preparation begins for “Luther: Never Too Much,” premiering on January 1st, 2025 at 8pm ET/PT on CNN.
Co-writer and producer, musician Marcus Miller says in the doc; “When people ask me, ‘Tell me about Luther,’ I say, just listen to Any Love. Listen to those lyrics.”
