“Brewster’s Millions: Christmas” premieres today on BET+, a fresh reimagining of the 1985 timeless comedic classic, “Brewster’s Millions.”
The film follows Morgan Brewster, a wealthy heiress who has lost her way.
She is faced with a Christmas challenge to inherit her uncle Monty Brewster’s grandfather’s fortune and must learn the true meaning of love, faith, and family by giving instead of receiving, all while navigating the charming chaos, and the true meaning of the holiday season.
Starring; China Anne McClain, Romeo Miller, Richard Pryor Jr., and Rain Pryor — the children of legendary comedian Richard Pryor. Plus Telma Hopkins, Tequan Richmond, and Sierra McClain.
CHINA ANNE MCCLAIN as “MORGAN”: Morgan is a classy, sympathetic woman who has champagne taste, who learns that people are more important than Money.
ROMEO MILLER as “ANDREW”: Andrew is dedicated to his work, but is also very compassionate even if he doesn’t like to show it, and begins to develop strong feelings for Morgan.
RAIN PRYOR as “OPAL“: Opal has been down on her luck but remains very bubbly and kind. She struggles to get back on her feet to regain custody of her daughter. Although it seems impossible, she remained resilient.
RICHARD PRYOR JR. as “UNCLE BREWSTER”: Uncle Brewster passed away unexpectedly. But was seen as a kind person, that all of his family has fond memories of, making food for the homeless, and helping as many people as he could.
TELMA HOPKINS as “AUNTY BREWSTER”: A tough, no-nonsense aunt who steps in to guide Morgan onto a better path. She emphasizes the importance of valuing both money and love, teaching Morgan to pursue success while staying grounded and kind.
TEQUAN RICHMOND as “BIG TY”: Big TY is a famous rapper, who is constantly getting bombarded by fans, but begins to show interest in a young kid that grew up similarly to him. And shows a compassionate side trying to help this kid.
SIERRA MCCLAIN as “TANYA”: Tanya is going through a tough time, after dealing with the loss of a loved one. And finds a connection with Morgan.
