UB First Listen: Marques Houston Channels Bobby Brown With ‘Cowgirl’
Available Next Friday August 23rd.
Marques Houston is set to release his new single “Cowgirl” and UB has your First Listen!
Being released next Friday August 23rd via Phoenix Music Group, the song follows his latest release “Last Drop.”
The new single “Cowgirl,” incorporates Bobby Brown‘s smash “Rock Wit’cha,” in elements of the track.
In his thirty year long career, Marques Houston has released four chart topping solo albums, starred in five major motion pictures, and starred in two network sitcoms.
Although “Cowgirl” only incorporates “Rock Wit’cha,” UB asked Bobby Brown in 2011 what he thought of Bobby V‘s remake of the same song? “I appreciate anybody that covers my songs, you know. As long as you don’t butcher it like Britney Spears did.”
