The UB Interview: ‘Tyler Perry’s Ruthless’ Cast Talk Season 5
Three New Episodes Streaming Today On BET+.

The BET+ Original series” Tyler Perry’s Ruthless“, returns today with Season five, with three episodes.
The 9-episode season will continue with one episode weekly, leading up to the season finale on Thursday, September 12th.
Tyler Perry’s “Ruthless” is back with more heart-stopping, breath-holding, scream-out-loud moments. As we return to the Rakadushis compound to witness the plots and plans of escape and deceit, we find an all-out battle.
But the Rakadushis aren’t just fighting the FBI this time; the cartel led by the brother of the dead cartel member, Lilo, has stepped in and joined the battle with the compound and the FBI.
The tides have turned, and just as The Highest predicted, they are going to war with the government, and the outcome is uncertain. Ruth has set her sights on escaping the compound with a few others and is making moves to put her plan into action.
She is scared, not only for herself but for the many people in the compound, and she must find a way to stop The Highest’s orders to end it all and go to the Raku in the afterlife.
The Highest falls into more madness than usual and has elevated himself in his own mind, and things don’t go as planned for him when he attempts to perform a miracle in front of the entire camp. It leaves his members in utter shock and confusion.
The Highest continues to rule with a strong hand as he goes about punishing and downgrading some of his formerly loyal followers, but it’s his personal demons that seem to rule him as he faces memories of the past.
Season five of “Ruthless” reaches the peak of destruction and mayhem as blood is shed on both sides of the compound. Alliances will crumble, trust will be nonexistent, and the innocent will be punished. Who will be left standing when the dust settles?
In the season premiere, entitled “Children of the New Paradise,” Ruth finds her daughter after fleeing the Rakudushis cult, while the Highest narrowly escapes the FBI and members are pursued by the cartel, resulting in a dangerous defense.
Episode two “Il Fin Di Chi Fa Mal,” finds Ruth looking for a way to get the brainwashed children away from their new headmaster, Obadiah, but The Highest has other ideas. When River attempts to get back into The Highest‘s good graces, he discovers Dikahn plans to make his life a living hell.
And finally in episode three “The Night is Long,” Ruth works desperately to prevent the mass suicide of the Rakudushi members, River faces threats from multiple adversaries, and The Highest‘s mounting paranoia leads to more bloodshed.
