The UB Interview: Shanola Hampton & Mark-Paul Gosselaar Talk ‘Found’
Shanola Dishes on Cast, while Mark-Paul Shares Inspiration Behind Sir.
The best new series of the year, “Found” continues tomorrow, December 12th at 10-11 p.m. ET/PT. on NBC.
In the episode entitled, “Missing While Interracial;” When a Black man goes missing, his family turns to M&A, but suspicions begin to swirl when he’s implicated in the disappearance of a white woman.
Gabi digs in on her search for Annie, the girl she saw at the cabin, while Sir reveals why he kidnapped Gabi.
“Found” gets better and better with each week, this is the best and most intense episode of the season yet!
The subject of Black men in America and the story that unfolds, is showcased in a way we rarely see on television.
Guest star Juliette Jeffers who portrays Jolene, the mother of a missing Black man, delivers a powerful sermon.
In one scene, she speaks on why she would rather her son be with a Black woman, instead of a white one. Our hope at UB is that for every viewer who takes issue, really listens and attempts to understand her stance.
This episode features an Emmy worthy performance by Kelli Williams. With some revelations coming to front as well, including how Sir captured Gabi.
