J. Lock Drops Flashy ‘Money’ Visual Feat. Finesse2Tymes

Stoner Road Music Empire’s breakout recording artist J. Lock has dropped a new single an video “Money” feat. Finesse2Tymes. A follow-up to his Top 40 hit “Selfish,” featuring RL.

The “Money” video premiered on BET Jams this morning.

The Mississippi-bred, Atlanta-based rapper has been turning heads with a co-sign from his manager, legendary, Grammy-winning and multi-platinum Executive Producer, Russell “Big Block” Spencer, CEO of Block Entertainment.

J. Lock’s recent Top 40 Urban Radio hit single “Selfish,” featuring multi-platinum R&B singer RL, has opened up doors for a slew of appearances at BET Awards 2023 Media House and a successful Midwest radio run to promote the new track.

We’ve been discovering stars for decades at Block Entertainment, all the way back to Yung Joc and Jeezy,” states Big Block. “I definitely see that star quality in J. Lock, so when Hugh Neil from Stoner Road Music Empire brought him to me, I knew we had to get to it. Our motto is ‘rebuilding hip hop block by block’ and J. With the official visual featuring gambling scenes and cameos from his multi-platinum collaborator, J. Lock delivers a bass-heavy and beat-driven track sure to heat up the airwaves this summer with its infectious hook.

Even as a new artist, J. Lock has begun receiving accolades such as a nomination for the 49th Annual Jackson Music Awards for “Male Hip-Hop Artist of The Year.” The awards ceremony will take place on July 24, the same day the new single impacts radio, at the Jackson Convention Center Complex in Jackson, Mississippi.
