One of our favorites August Alsina, has seen his share of Triumphs and Tragedies. Starting with his older brother Melvin La’Branch III, being murdered on August 31, 2010.

Soon after breaking out on YouTube by doing covers then signed to Def Jam and released his debut Gold album “Testimony.

Today August Alsina drops his new visual for “Myself.” The song is in reminiscent of the intro to his debut album “Testimony.” Could “Myself” be the intro to his forthcoming album release?

Time will tell

But I done been through too much hell
Surprised I never tried to shoot myself
I stay real, Cuz I ain’t trying to fool myself
Navigated out the jungle, didn’t lose myself
Never forgot, what I had to do myself
When I only had me, myself and I

August recently appeared on VH1’s The Surreal Life, along with Tamar and other celebrities.
