Chris Voice Starts The Year off With New Heat ‘Body’
In 2011, a new R&B group hit the scene entitled Hamilton Park. Their biggest hit was the ballad “Thing Called Us.”
UB helped roll-out and spoke to the group at the time, that included lead vocalist Chris Voice.
Chris Voice is a singer/songwriter who grew up in Hobson City, Alabama one hour away from Atlanta, GA. He and three friends formed Hamilton Park, paying homage to the Scottsdale community center where they hung out and played basketball. This proved to be a turning point in the young artist’s life straddling the fence between a life pursuing music and the streets.
After coming off of the “Scream Tour” entitled “The Next Generation” containing acts OMG Girls, Mindless Behavior, and Jacob Latimore, the group Hamilton Park took a hiatus giving Chris an opportunity to explore himself musically. Chris always had an edgy hip hop background in an industry that has since changed from “Polished and Rehearsed” to “Edgy and Real.”
A totally refreshed and focused Chris Voice has been consistently released singles featuring Skooly, Lil Donald, Nicki Minaj, Spectacular, Yung Joc and in 2019 dropped a single titled “In the Safe.”
Starting off 2023, Chris Voice dropped his new single and visual “Body.” Chris went back to the foundation of Hamilton Park and teamed up with producer Tedy-P on the sensual vibey track.
This is the first project from his imprint PowerHouse Recordings. The single has two different videos with different looks. One including the lyrics with a “suit and tie” live performance look shot by Christopher Mosley and another intimate, colorful, visually appealing, video shot by City Vizuals both directed by the singer himself along with Landon Brooks of MAWH Productions.
Chris shared with UB his experience shooting his very first video “Computer Love” in 2011; “It was really just a dream come true, I think my brothers would definitely agree. Being our first time and first video, everybody was a little nervous and had the jitters but doing the routine like we do all day everyday anyway. It just turned out to be a beautiful experience.”
