Listen to this article

One of our favorites, Lyfe Jennings has released the controversial new visual for his new single “Till You Gone” via RBC Records/BMG.

Produced by Chrishan, RockBoy Beats, and Mike Woods and written by Chester Jennings, Christopher Dotson, Mark Antonio Hudson and Mike Woods.

The controversial video has already been pulled from Instagram. Directed by Lyfe Jennings the video starts with a disclaimer followed by a slave being whipped by a slave owner, with modern day folks standing around laughing while filming with their cellphones. That should be enough to make you want to press play

The song touches on having self love and worth and knowing the real ones from the foes.

“Mama said, they’ll never love you till you’re gone
Don’t waste no time trying to please no nigga, no bitch
Nobody that don’t believe in you”
