Danny Boy Announces New Album Following New Single ‘This Song’

After being in the business for over 20 years and a seven-year hiatus, Danny Boy formerly of Death Row Records, now Danny Boy Steward will release his first ever solo project.

Black Heart” will be released on Valentines Day 2023 via Chicago Creed Music Group/InGrooves/Universal.

The new single “This Song” is reminiscent of the contemporary R&B from the 90s with a 21st century soul vibe.

When it comes to timeless, pure, range in Falsetto excellence the Chi-Town crooner doesn’t disappoint. The new album is like a seamlessly stitched tapestry, how his classically woven sound coupled with writing that reads like effortless aural poetry transports audiences to soulful nirvana.

Danny Boy got his start as a teenager with Death Row Records in the 90s. As a soloist, he hit Billboard’s R&B charts with “Slip N Slide” and “It’s Over Now.Danny Boy recorded on tracks by Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Twista, but is known mostly for his collabs with 2Pac on “I Ain’t Mad at Cha” and “Picture Me Rollin’.”

His artistry is a testament to why he’s still one of the revered legends of catchy hooks that has been blessed to be an ever evolving phenom in the realms of R&B.
